Ayreanna Pettijohn is a Ph.D student at Johns Hopkins University, School of Public health. She is identifying the specific components of air pollution. Her community-engaged research includes working together with residents to co-develop materials about air quality and to gauge the feasibility of changing behavior to limit their exposure to outdoor pollution, as well as taking measurements to study outdoor exposure. She will share the data, along with information about the likely health effects of the particles identified.
