Julia Moriarty Assistant Professor, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, University of Colorado Boulder

Julia Moriarty researches how the movement of water, dissolved chemicals, and mud and sand particles affect the ability of estuaries and coastal waters to support life. She primarily uses and develops new computer models to investigate how variability in weather, environmental conditions, and human activities may affect our estuaries and coastal ocean. Julia is a collaborator with BSEC.
