Health Theme Team Lead
Associate Professor, Environmental Health & Engineering, Johns Hopkins University
Kirsten Koehler works to improve measurements of individuals’ and populations’ exposure to hazards such as heat and air pollution to inform occupational and public health policy. She uses “real-time” monitors that can rapidly assess exposures to hazards in specific locations, coupled with estimated exposures for known locations, enabling her to identify the sources of these hazards.
